Jack & Jim's 4th of July top 50 car show a success

Another beautiful day for a car show. Some of the old timers complained and left the show after 1 Guitar Hero song. Yeah the 50's and 60's were a great time to remember but cut it loose and move on, it's 2008. Todays car enthusiast has so much more available to them then 30 years ago and aged car lovers should embrace the fact there is a new breed to carry on the car show tradition. Louder stereos, carbon fiber and fiberglass parts, lambo doors are some of the new norms to be seen. There were around 130 cars again this year with trophies to the top 30 and plaques for the other 20 to make up the top 50. I know for a fact I had at least 9 votes so should have been enough to put me in the top 30 but because of the whining about my car not fitting in with the gerital crowd a few votes were misplaced. Oh well, at least they had the decency to let me take home a plaque. Hope you all enjoyed a car show or just the usual festivities for this holiday weekend! STAY SAFE!
