About Me
I am retired from John Deeres, worked 35 years in the Waterloo engine plant, been retired about 8 years now. Have a rare nervious system disease called neurapathy which causes pain in my feet and hands but I can still get around, doped up on so much medicine that I can't feel my hands. Son helps when he can. Some interests include restoring old John Deere 2 cylinder tractors I have 12 restored and about 12 unrestored. Also collect old cars and trucks, I have 3 50's chevy trucks, 1 36 chevy 1 ton, 55 nash ramber, 49 ford, and a couple other cars and trucks, most are just stock or unrestored because I am working on the two I have up now.

Usually I just stay at home a work on the projects, but do make it out to car shows and the occasional swap meet. Go to a lot of tractor shows and take some of my nicer ones to a local one every year.
General Vehicle Comments
About 15 years ago I got the vehicle from a co-worker at the waterloo engine works, its engine was all apart in the trunk and the interior wasn't the best so I traded another car for it and took it home. As soon as I had it in the barn I pulled all the parts out of it, instead of putting the origonal flat head back in I found a rebuilt one in a 47 ford truck and put that in. After that I parked it in the barn for a good 6 years. About that time I got around to getting it out, it needed some work and a rebuild, rebuilt it again and cleaned it up a bit. Back in it went for another 3 years untill I decided that I would get it done now, had a freind do the paint and body, let the wife pick the color since I gave the car to her, first though it got the flat black primer, then the peach about a year later, the interior just got done towards the end of december of 07 and the paint was done int november of 07. Now I have been working on the other projects and plan to get to it a little later. Well thats the story for this one, many more to come. Forgot to mention I have a Bee Hive Oil filter for it, should I keep it off or put it on, what do you think?
