The problem was people didn't know how to drive a rear engine car. By 69 all the safety issues were fixed and they stopped production. GM did the same thing with the Fiero. The 1988 was finally built with its own parts and not parts from the Chevette and they killed that off too.

Your right, 2 are always better than 1. It's a shame that 69 was the last year for them, they finally got them right. That's why I always wanted a 69.
