Hi , I'm Travis and have loved cars since I could crawl and was into
race cars from very young as you can see in the pic above with my
mom trying to pull me out so I was crying and fighting it.
Now I am either wrenching or wiring something or relaxing by the
firepit with a drink in my hand. When broke or bad weather spend my
time on line making wish lists for things for the car or chatting with
all of my wonderful on line car friends. I like camping and hitting up
car shows, online texas hold em and Playstation.
I have used my Angelfactory ID for years on car sites and here is the story of that... My wife and I have had 5 miscarriages, that is why our kids are 10 years apart in age, one night drinking with friends out by
the firepit and having a pretty good buzz going the conversation
drifted to the miscarriages and then it happened, someone said the
popular "well God has a plan" Or "they are in a better place" This is
a stupid thing to say to someone who just had a loss and don't know
who the first was to say it or why it caught on as a sympathetic thing
to say but it is just retarded. My response was a drunken shout
"F*ck God , I'm not a damn angel factory!" and the name just stuck
ever since. I have since made my peace and my life is going as well
as anyone elses and we have been blessed with our 2 sons after a
long 10 yr wait.

Thanks for coming to check out my Probe GT. Purchased on May 15th 2008.
I bought this car to replace a 94 Probe GT that was an automatic that
was my first Ford and I fell in love with it. I figured if I was going
to go all out on a car might as well start with the right car and
bought this one with a 5 speed. Swapped everything from the old one
to this one in 3 days with the wife's help and took it to it's first
show where it took 2nd place 1982-2002 modified class.
A little history lesson on the Probe. Ford being co owner of Mazda
asked Mazda designers to come up with a sleek front wheel drive design
for the 89 Mustangs. Several designs were tossed around and many
revisions and compromises were made to shave weight and get the car
lower and important to Ford was a complete wrap around rear window
glass. When Fox bodied Mustang fans found out what was in store for
their beloved Mustang they were prepared to burn detroit to the ground
if the Probe was released as the new Mustang so a name change was done
and the new Mustang was renamed the Ford Probe. It is based on the
Mazda mx6 platform and the Probe was picked car of the year in 1993
and also won the honor of best seat design and safety awards for being
the first car to offer driver and passenger side airbags as standard equipment since 94.The Probe line ran until 1997 when dropping sales caused Ford to give up on the Probe. Something Ford is good at. When toying with the idea to reintroducing the Probe as a new and improved model again a name change was in order and it was released as the newly redesigned Cougar. Now that you know you can see the simularity huh?
So now you know the Ford Probe is basically a Mazda with the blue oval emblems and was built in Detroit. The Probe GT's speedo goes up to 140
and many have reported it will do it. I won't because I rolled a car
with the needle buried before and it wasn't fun. My back aches every
day of my life and will probably only get worse as I get closer to
gumming my food and crapping my pants. Drive safe!

Keep in mind that most of this was done in the first month and the car is far from done. Just wanted to make it mine and comfortable to my tastes until I have the money to do the more expensive work.

# of autolog users when I signed up 4959.

KLZE engine and turbo with the megasquirt stand alone management system. Paint and body mods. One maker is claiming to have completed a carbonfiber hatch for the Probes so will watch the status of that with great interest.
More painting done in the interior and I think I am going to wrap my enclosure in the hatch in red vynal where it is red now . Just don't like the look of the painted wood. Some black rims with a chrome lip, not sure which brand yet. Saw some Shelby signature american racing rims designed for the new Mustangs that would look hot and fit but just not sure yet.
