About Me
My interest is of course Cars !! And Drag Racing. I enjoy building race engines, prefer for myself Pontiac V8's, but have built something from alll the American companies plus a Nissan skyline engine. Need heads ported? I do that. I have built 2 engines for the Enginemasters challenge.
What do I consider fun? Making passes at the track!
General Vehicle Comments
1975 Vega, originally an AHRA Pro Stocker from the 75 season, all steel except hood, 2700lbs, currently 2 tenths slower with theoverrated powerglide vs. old 400th,so you can guess what transmission is going back in for next year. Yes, it's Pontiac powered, old engine (originally built for enginemaster's contest) 408, pumpgas no nos or blowers, best e.t. 9.36 at 144mph. All on pump gas 93 octane.
New engine combo is a 66 389 block, .060" over, the new CV-1 cylinder heads (which I've helped in developement of), 4.25" eagle crank, mild Lunati roller cam 255/268 duration @ .050", with our rocker arms, .714" lift before lash.
32x14x15 M/T slicks. 24x4.5 M/T front runners.
Accessories & Modifications
Most were made over the 1974 winter !!
Vehicle Showcase
9.36 @144.456 mph in the 1/4
5.65 @127.301 mph in the 1/8
1.19 60 ft.
3.49 330 ft.
Bulletin Board
I have decided to sell the Vega as the next engine combo requires a c/m 6.00 certified chassis car. turn key, with engine that will run into the 9's for Super Gas competition, $16,000 If you have any questions, email me at; supercompvega@hotmail.com

Here is the rundown on the Vega;
75 Vega, mild steel chassis, certification until 2010. Currently set up for Pontiac, has been 8.42@167mph with 505inch Wenzler Super Chief headed Pontiac on 112 gas only.

Factory steel with fiberglass hood, lexan tinted glass.
Car was originally built for AHRA prostock wars of the mid 70's. Has never been used on the street, even when new!

Engine set back, Delay box, MSD ignition, rachet shifter, front and midplates, 4 link, 32x14x15 M/T slicks (largest that will fit, other brands will not) weld dragstars, 24x4.5x15 M/T fronts,
Braced 9" with 35 spline MW centersection/ spool with new 35 spline Moser axles, wilwood brakes f/r. dual battery set up, 1 wire alt. (leave your batt. charger at home!) 8 gal fuel cell. Paxton 400 series pump.
JW Powerglide w/ JW bellhousing, turbo input, all the good stuff inside, transbrake, race pump, etc., JW 8" 5000 stall convertor, (this is a $2600 trans without the $1390 convertor).
If sold T/K , Pontiac engine that will run 9.90's (very reliable repeatible bracket combo!) anywhere anytime.
You will love this easy to run engine combo.
With Pontiac engine, 185lb driver it is appox. 2680 lbs.
I do have the front plate for a chevy engine. I really love this great driving car, but my new engine combo will be a low 7 high 6 second pure Pontiac combo (it has already been tested in another ride) so it's time to move up to a c/m chassis that will NHRA certify at 6.00 e.t.

also 4 sale; 600+hp Pontiac Street Strip Engine, .040" '66 389, decked, full machine work + all needed oil control passages modifications made including ported oil feed, lifter restrictors, etc. Balanced, blueprint sheet with be given to buyer. 4.5" forged All Pontiac.com crank, SFI Aproved flexplate, BHJ damper, Eagle 3D 6.8" rods, TotalSeal rings, custom Ross pistons for pump gas use with 72cc heads. ARP studs and bolts. Melling Select oil pump, Custom solid roller, Rollmaster bigpin roller chain,
BrandNew ported Edelbrock Pontiac heads, 72 cc's, flow is over 310cfm. Comp roller springs, ARP headbolts, Matching ported Dominator flanged Victor intake.
Only $8000
You can't build this engine what I've priced it at. This combo is a proven 10.5 second in an early 3500lb LeMans on 92 octane pump gas with only a 3200 convertor/400th engine combination. Add your water pump, 1050 carb, 2" or larger headers and distributor and go win! Oh, and make sure you have a good hooking suspension !!!

Future Plans
I am selling to upgrade to a c/m chassis car that is 6.00 E.T. certified.
