Pop the hood off and show off wife/daughters as they throw candy and enjoy the crowds from the trailer! It has seats with belts!!! |

GM Has 8 out of 10 of the quality manufacturing plants in North America, This means that GM quality is better now than all of the imports. Toyota's highest rated plant is 15th.
GM is the leader in fuel economy With 18 vehicles that get over 30 miles per gallon highway. That's more than Toyota, Nissan, and Hyundai combined.
GM is the leader in alternative fuels. Today GM has 1.5 million vehicles already on the road equipped to use E85 ethanol. Plus, GM is the leader in hydrogen fuel research, which will be the future of alternative power sources, rather than hybrids.
GM employs and supports more than 1,100,000 people and their families in the US. If you use the same formula Toyota uses to say they employ 350,000 people, then GM would employ over 11,350,000 people.
The imports would lead you to believe they make cars in the US. NOT TRUE! They assemble cars from parts made mostly in Japan, Korea and other foreign countries. There is a big difference in assembling vehicles and making vehicles. Conversly, 85% of all GM parts used to build cars and trucks come from the US. Only a small percentage of parts used to assemble import cars come from the United States. Examples: Lexus 3%, US content, KIA 4%, BMW 11% and Hyundai only 1%.
For every one point of market share the imports gain, 18,000 US jobs are lost. Maybe you know an American who has lost his or her job when a GM or Ford plant closed.
Who has the most dependable vehicles? According to JD Power and Associates, GM does, with eight vehicles winning in their segments. Thats more than any other manufacturer, including the imports.
What manufacturers are imports? Everyone except GM, Ford and the Chrysler part of Diamler-Chrysler.
What happens to the billions of dollars the imports make in the United States? The money goes back to Japan, Korea, Germany, and other countries to pay for their health care, education, parks and playgrounds, and other things their people use.
The United States currently has a $50 billion trade deficit each year in automobile and parts trade with Japan and Korea alone. This is slowly but surely eroding the wealth out of America and giving it to Japan, Korea, and other countries. Because of this, our children and grandchildren will have a lower quality of life than we enjoy today.
Who has the safest new vehicles on the road? GM does by far, with more safety devices (including OnStar) on more vehicles than any other company.
Are GM and Ford going out of business? No - at least every American should pray they arent, because it would create a financial turmoil around the world, especially here in America.
Why is keeping GM and Ford strong so important? Because manufacturing is the basis of any modern, influential nation. American has already lost its electronics industry, textile industry, furniture industry, most of its steel industry, and many others. Automobile and auto parts manufacturing is the last major industry left. Plus during a national crisis like World War II, GM's and Ford's manufacturing plants were converted to supply our military with equipment to win the war.
Why should you buy new American cars, particulary GM, versus the imports?
1. GM's Quality is as good as or better than the imports.
2. GM's gas mileage is better.
3. GM's dependability is better.
4. You will help lower our trade deficit.
5. You will help keep more jobs in America.
6. Profits from new American vehicles will help provide more services for American Citizens and help keep America strong.
