General Vehicle Comments
When I turned 16 I was given a '72 GTO (pictured below) as a birthday present. To help pay for school I had to sell this car. Then, when Pontiac re-introduced the GTO in 2004 I started doing my research. Every GTO, from 1964 to 1974, had some form of hood scoop. However, the '04 model did not have hood scoops. For this reason I did not jump at the opportunity to purchase one. To my delight, the '05 GTO had the hood scoops I desired. Additionally, the '05 model year came with the larger LS2 engine (6.0 L), versus the LS1 (5.7 L) that came in the '04, which ultimately meant 50 Hp more. That is when I made the purchase. Obviously this car handles better than my old '72, but additionally makes more power and is faster with a smaller displacement engine. Stock, the '05 GTO is rated at 400 Hp and 395 lb-ft. This car is a joy to drive!

    Vehicle Showcase
With the above listed modifications, my GTO is making 489 RWHP and 447 RWTQ. Below are the results from my last dyno tune done by Allan Futral:

    Bulletin Board
    Project Punisher Goat

As of 04/20/07 the aforementioned project is complete.

Assuming drive train losses of 15%, the 489 RWHP translates to 576 Hp at the flywheel, which is a bit higher than I had originally forecast.

    Future Plans

The windows need to be tinted in an effort to finish the sinister look I am looking for from Project Punisher Goat.

On January 5, 2008, it appears that there will be another Midnight Madness Drifting and Drags event held at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, LA. Additionally, many members of the Louisiana Goat Herd will be present. However, there is no need to be a goat pilot to join in the fun. If you are in the area, please feel free to either watch or make a few passes down the 1/4-mile track...or do some drifting if that is your cup of tea.

I'm running 17x11's on every corner. So I got 315's G-Force KD's front and rear. Nice part about a Vette that no one talks about is the chassis and the wheel wells. Lot's of room for serious mods!

HA HA HA Thanks for the comment! I appreciate that, & I do work hard to keep her gleaming.

I haven't had an opportunity to strap her to a dyno yet, but she smokes my dad's 70' Torino Cobra, & that car is FAST!!! I would like to find out what the numbers really are someday...

Luckily for myself I do all my own engine work. Even so, the total cost of everything is pretty high. In the end its worth every penny though.
