About Me Well considering I am a major car buff, all I do is work on and play with my cars. I also have a 1967 Chevy Camaro, and a 1932 Ford roadster I am working on, but I am keeping these cars under wraps until they are finished. There really isn't much to say accept that I am a car lover, and that they take up most of my free time. |

General Vehicle Comments This is a 1956 Chevy Bel Air, one of two that I own. This car was originally purchased brand new from my grandfather, and has been in the family since. This is a Sunday driver, especially during the summer time. I love to pull down all four windows and cruises. |
|
Accessories & Modifications I have to say that the engine is a big block 396. The original 283 I still have but I wanted to get some power under the hood. I am pulling roughly 450 horsepower, although the car still looks like my grandfather still drives it. he he! The interior has been redone under factory specifications, and is probably one of the nicest interiors around. All of the chrome trim on the outside has been either polished or replaced with genuine GM. I had the bird on the hood polished and rechromed, and I must say this one is a keeper. |

Vehicle Showcase Every now and then, I participate in the local car shows around town. The most fun I have is on the Fourth of July, downtown. I love showing my car there as I get many compliments, and many buy offers. (This car is not for sale and won't be going on sale any time soon.) I have entered the car in the good guys car show a few times, but don't really like to take it out there. I like keeping this car in private and mainly participate in local shows. |
|
Future Plans I don't really have any future plans for this one, as it is pretty much a jewel. I just plan on taking it out every Sunday for a ride and making sure my baby is kept running clean. I will probably take her to the local shows, and you should be able to see me this Fourth of July again. |
