I have recently had the opportunity to begin making some of the more extensive modifications that I have always wanted to make to the truck. So it here goes;
- The already beefed up 360 (5.9L) is going to be pulled and replaced with either a 528 Hemi (8.7L) or a 540 (8.8L). That should just about suck the eyeballs into back of their heads.
-I am stripping every wire from the truck and replacing them with a much improved 22 circuit system that will support all the additional "gadgets" I intend to install.
-I've pulled the vinyl bench seat, & am replacing it w/ a cloth bench w/ fold-down console.
-The original door panels stopped at the top of the kick panel (And were ugly to boot), so I am make custom panels that will extend to the bottom of the door, & will both be perforated for the speakers, and include glove compartments beside the speakers.
-Both power windows and power locks are being installed.
-Stock, the truck has just a steel roof. I am going to both add a pop-up sunroof, and make a headliner to match the new door panels & seat.
-With the interior out, I am going to install a heavy application of sound-deadener to the cab.
-Currently the tank is equipped with a single in-cab fuel tank. I want to relocate the fuel tank to an under-bed mounting to gain some more cab room. This should also help with my weight distribution, as it moves a considerable amount of weight from a front & high point to a rear & low point. Hopefully, it will help cure some tire spin. lol
-Also in an effort to cure tire spin, but mostly to make the ultimate goal possible, I am installing an electronically locking rear-end. This will allow it to drive nice on the street, but when its time to race, flip the switch and double the traction.
-The stereo system should really sound nice, with all the components chosen to compliment each other well.

-Once I chrome the roll-bar, I am going to install a pair of additional high beam driving lights, and a pair of wide angle offroad lights on it. In the back of the rollbar I will install a bedlight.
-The front bumper is going to have a pair of fog-lights molded into it.
-A pair of tow-hooks are going to be installed in the front of the truck under the bumper.
-The old style "big-rig" style rear-view mirrors will be replaced with a pair of molded body colored mirrors.
-The latch on the tail gate will be replaced with one that locks.
-The interior of the bed, all the unexposed surfaces of the cab, and the entire under-side of the truck are going to be lined in Line-X or some form of bed-lining to prevent any future rust.
-A class IV tow hitch will be installed to allow me to remove the rear bumper hitch.
-To accommodate my dirtbiking hobby, a series of U-bolt style utility hooks will be added to the floor of the bed to make tying the bikes down a cinch.
-A locking under-bed trunk is going to be installed (Similar to the Honda Ridgline).
