About Me

I was born and bred from a little town in central Alabama called Hoover. My passion for cars started with my first ride in my dads 69 RS when I was about 5 or 6. Shortly there after he had to sell the car, but the memory stuck with me and when I was old enough to begin to understand cars I started reading all of the performance magazines and books. My first vehicle was a 1987 Toyota SRF EFI Turbo Pickup with the rare 22R-TE engine in which I learned the basics. After deeming the truck was totaled after a wreck(RIP, not my fault) I began to search for bigger fish in the sea. Prerequisites: Old and Fast! After sifting through the forrest of prospective cars available, I finally found the “needle in the haystack”. An elderly man in his 70’s whom had long lost interest in the car decided to give it up and I was the first on his doorstep with the money in hand. The car was an SS clone in the making with old bench seat, column shifter and Malibu dash with cowl hood and strips already in place. He had most everything there to turn it to an SS like center console shifter, SS gauge panel and dash, all SS emblems, bucket seats and various other nick nacks. I knew I had a lot of work to do but everything was right in front of me. I am currently serving in the United States Navy. I felt I needed to give back to whom has given me the freedom and the opportunity to be myself.

General Vehicle Comments
I bought this truck with a strong vision of performance. I love the short wheelbase regular cab stepside chevy's. My goal is to somewhat mimick the look and performance of the highly sought after Joe Gibbs Edition Silverado's but with my own twist. As with my car its going to take years unless I hit the lotto but one way or another Ill get'er done...
Accessories & Modifications
Start off with a 2" drop in front and 4" in back. Polished Aluminum 20's and some spensive tires. Engines Mods are as follows: 8 degrees in total timing added, 75% of torque management lifted from the trans, increased hydrolic shift pressure for hard shifts past half throttle, 91 octane laptop tune, speed limiter removed, De-screened MAF sensor, K&N Cold Air intake, Flowmaster 40's. Thats it for now. Currently building an LQ4 6.0L for future replacement upgrade.
Future Plans
Currently building LQ4 6.0L motor with 4L80E trans for soon transplant. Sportier light wieght rims. Bigger brakes for sure..
