Vehicle Showcase I dont like it smooth, quiet, nor effortless. I like to listen to the whine of the Walbro fuel pump, the rumble of the homemade 3" exhaust, and feel the vibrations of the balance-shafts free engine on the steering wheel while idling at stop lights. I love the fact it takes me two hands on the wheel to park my power steering-free car, or that my A/C level is "window half down or all the way down". I love the stiffness of the ACT 2600 clutch, the notchiness of the tranny I have to literally rape when shifting and harsh ride with the polyureathane suspension bushings and the Sportline/AGX combo. I would never trade AWD launches for anything. I love the feeling of invincibility off the line and the way I get thrown against the seat and feel like being apart of my car at that moment. I enjoy hearing the notorious, "WTF do you have in that thing?!?" from over-confident Mustang and Camaro owners after blowing the doors of their shiny machines they spent a small fortune for. I love the way the boost comes on while being set on "Fuck Em Up" PSI level and I feel like Im being rear ended by a semi. I enjoy the intimidating jet engine like whine of the turbo and the BOV bark between shifts. I like it brutal. That is why I own a DSM. |
