I know what you mean. I don't have money to pay to have it done either and I'm a shitty painter but trying to make the best of it.You can see in the pic where I sanded down to plastic it's a lil rough, I might need to skim it with bondo in spots before I can finish the paint and call it done.

I used a Duplicolor silver metallic, the key to good paint is don't spray to heavy and when it's all built up the way you want then wet sand it to get a nice even and smooth paint, then clearcoat it. I have the airbrush soaking now so hopefully that all frees up so I can start the black outline around the silver and practice some flames. I put it away without cleaning it out after the last time I used it so it's all plugged up. Damn it! Last time I do that.

yeah i did it myself too all you do is go to any custom car place and buy the cans of smoke out i forget what it was called. its not very hard to do though

well I finally found a website that taught me how to read engine codes right in my driveway without an obd1 system and came up my crank position sensor. At least I know what it is that's wrong now. Did you check out the link and was it helpful?

It's the modified read hatch door piece. In all the pics it's upside down. I gave it all 2 coats of victory red like my old enclosure was and it looks bad ass. When the resin hardened it warped a lil so I'm praying all the clips can pull it all straight again, or else it was all for nothing, LOL.

thanks for the picture comment...its called an evo style hood !!..i think it would look sick on your car ..the 2 big vents dont work but the smaller one lets cool air into the engine bay ! - frank

Yeah, she was a doll. Had a model come yesterday and that girl in my main pic was her sister. I got a 2fer yesterday. Shot around 183 pics yesterday and added a couple here in my 4th model album and my mod album. That sucks about the motor . I know I had a hell of a time when the Canadian guy used paypal to buy the Barracuda from me.
