About Me
For fun I learn about Mustangs, Firebirds and GTOs. Ask a million questions, read all I can ... and I collect all kinds of Mustang, Firebird and GTO memorabilia.

My interests? Single men with goatees and mustaches!!!! (but they have to be into classic cars, ages 23-46, taking applications now, apply within)

My favorite thing to do? That I can talk about here!? Driving through all the country roads in this area (Dartmouth, Westport) and checking out all the classics people stick in their front and back yards. I've seen rusting Shelby projects sitting in backyards, old Firebirds rotting in front yards, old Mustangs being used as planters as the grass grows inside the car, etc. It's pretty sad to see how they neglect such sexy sheet metal.

My pet peeves are kids with current Mustangs who feel the need to drive up next to me or behind me and rev their engine repeatedly. Yes, I know you have a big one -- engine, that is -- but believe me, I don't have engine penis envy.

I'm not here to win a popularity contest with the most friends. If you're on my friends' list, it's because you actually ARE a friend or we've spoken.

Want me on your friends' list? Here's a novel idea -- message me. Say hi. Social network sites are just for that, social networking, not trying to wave your e-penis around and brag you have the most friends.

If you think you want to talk to me, and think you're worth getting to know (or think I am), then simply send me a message first. I'm pretty cool and don't bite unless you ask.

Requests without saying hi first will be denied. Sorry. I'm a meaniehead.
General Vehicle Comments
I purchased my 1966 pony 3 summers ago but have only had it for 2 summers as it took a year to restore. It's a California rust-free car and is totally stock. I replaced everything but the paint, almost all original parts, all the way down to the center drag link. She's a good little pony and has a lot of get-up-and-go for an inline 6. I haven't named her yet but she tends to change gender when I'm frustated since only MEN cause such problems!

Living in New England I really only get to enjoy it a few solid months of the year. In the winter I'll take her out for a short drive every few weeks as long as there is no snow or road salt down on the roads. I keep a battery tender on her so she always starts right up.

In October I'll usually take her out every day as it's ideal -- no humidity and I don't worry about the car being too hot (she has never overheated), cool enough for the heat to keep me warm (until that goateed stud shows up!) and enough of the greenery already down so I can see into backyards more clearly. I usually bring a camera with me to capture the cars I find.
Accessories & Modifications
99% stock.
Vehicle Showcase
Race times? On a 200 engine? LOL. I've never put her in a show despite people telling me to do so. She's just a driver and I don't need awards to tell me how awesome she looks.

When a mechanic looks under the car and is impressed, it's all the accolades I need (this happened the other day). When someone who can appreciate older cars is impressed by the engine bay, that's enough for me.
