I am in the United States Marine Corps. I am stationed in 29 Palms. I went to Iraq from April to October of '08. I was looking to sell my Lincoln just for some extra money in the bank and buy a newer car, but my money saved from Iraq had to be used toward other things. But I finally got my A4 & I still got to keep my Lincoln, as well as my older Audi. The Lincoln & older Audi are out of commission for now, but I'll be fixing those up later on. The A4 is my main project for now. I've been on this site for a while now, and there are great people who definitely have the same enthusiasm about cars as I do. My Town Car was my father's car until he passed away from cancer back in April of 2006, on the morning after my 18th birthday. My mother then passed it on to me. My father had many occupations, including acting, song-writing, singing, producing, script-writing, musician, etc. He was also a taxi-driver back in his 20's on the East coast, specifically in New York City. He also did a lot of box-car racing and crash-derbies when he was younger. He used to have an awesome street bike, a Yamaha V-Max. Unfortunately he had to sell it, as money was getting tight when I was younger. Anyway, he was a limousine driver in SoCal, and he got the Lincoln from the company that he worked for...so that's the story of how I ended up with it.

Custom Sony Xplod deck (single CD), custom 6" by 9" Digital Audio rear speakers, custom double-ported box with two 12" SPX Professional Audio woofers. The deck and interior speakers are powered by a Hitron 1000-watt amp, & the box is powered by a Sony Xplod 1200-watt amp.

2009, Apr 17 UPDATE: Have been back from Iraq for a while now, been extremely busy, and almost half-way through my 5 year enlistment in the Marine Corps. No longer have the money for a new car, so I'll continue to customize my Lincoln until further notice. Look forward to getting more involved on the site than I have been lately. Planning on getting some photography of my car done today and throughout this weekend. For now, I'll be out in the driveway detailing it. Oh, and I got a new system setup, as far as speakers. Please see "vehicle showcase" section for details. Most importantly, I need a new intake manifold, since mine is cracked and I've only temporarily fixed the problem.

2009, Apr 19 UPDATE: Detailed the car more over the weekend. Waxed & polished the entire car. Took tons of pictures of the car and also with my wife modeling for me.

Trips planned: Going for some cruises to find good locations for pictures of the car.
Car plans: Need a new intake manifold, customizing the interior, replacing the deck, more sound-system customization, getting a new exhaust system for my V8 to actually sound like a V8, and replacing the engine further on in time.
