About Me I've liked cars since I can remember. My whole life kind of revolves around cars. I grew up around a lot of American cars. My dad owned a 1967 Dodge Charger when I grew up, I always loved to ride in it. I used to play Gran Turismo and learn about all the different cars and statistics when I was younger.
Then when I was 15 I started looking for a car of my own, but instead of buying a Ford or any other American car, I bought a 1998 Acura Integra GS.

I really liked that car, but I ended up selling it about a year ago and kind of regret it. Then, I bought a really crappy 1993 Eagle Talon DS as a project car, which I spent the whole summer fixing up. I had to take out the sunroof, grind off about 2 inches of old cracked up bondo, and fix it's warped wavy roof by using a dent puller and bondoing and sanding the whole roof until it was perfect. I also had to weld up the frame since it had been in an accident and the previous owners decided to fix that with a sawzall too. I painted a Cuda green/ black 2 -tone paint job on it after I repaired everything.

After the couple hundred hours of perfecting my Eagle Talon, I promised never to sell it. What did I do a couple weeks later, I sold it and bought my current 1995 Honda Del Sol Si. Those hundreds of hours spent on my Talon paid off though when I started fixing up my Del Sol, because now you can't even tell where any of my previous rust holes were.
I've put a lot of hard work into my cars, and I don't quit until it's done right. I love my Del Sol, and don't plan on selling it any time soon. I plan on going to college for Automotive Engineering. |

General Vehicle Comments Bought it on 10/19/2009. It has a lot of work that needs to be done to get it into the condition I want it. I'm replacing the driver's side drive axle assembly and the passenger's side outer tie rod end, they are both loose and found out the cv joint bearings on the loose axle were broken. I'm also putting in new KYB GR-2 shocks in the front, the seal is broke on one of them, so I'm replacing both. When I took the shock off, I found out that it's actually bent lol.
I'm eventually going to fix the rust, and the bad body work on it, shave the antenna and the moldings, some of the emblems, and repaint it. I probably won't repaint it until summer. I bought like new 16" Enkei Racing rims w/ tires. I also got the sub and amp hooked up and working. The suspension seems to be all fixed, I'm getting an obd1 P72 ecu for it, instead of the crappy P05 that's in it. Hopefully there's no more problems after I install the new ecu. |

Future Plans Going to use it as a winter beater for now, then clean it up, repaint it, dump some performance parts in it, maybe turbo. Not for sure on what I exactly want to do with it, I need to fix the front suspension before I do anything else with it. |
