About Me
There's not much to say about me. My name's Alicia, and I'm 22. In spare time, aside from working on my car, I like to read.
General Vehicle Comments
This is a 1952 Le France Open Cab Foam Engine. I believe it was on of the first designed for foam, and as of now has a lot of the original tools and ladders used when it was first manufactured. As of right now, all the body panels are original...as is the motor. This is my husband's project, and his plan is to restore...and I'll be helping out. We'll do what we can to keep any original parts possible.
Accessories & Modifications
So far...we know the starter needs rebuilt. Hehe.

nope far from it actually lol dad's always been into cars and is a claims adjuster now, and i work at a glass company and make shop drawings. idk why they picked a firetruck, but it's different. and we've also got a 69 VW dunebuggy that's getting repainted and worked on.

for about 5 years this sat behind our house close to the woods covered up and after we finally got it running we soon found out the brakes don't completely work on it, but it's weight helps slow it down. and still don't to this day and that's been maybe 3-4 years ago lol we've just not had the time and spare money, but i think before we put it in the parade this year it's getting a complete new brake job. and some people are really surprised that it doesn't have a ford motor in it. it has a mid-late 70's monte carlo 350 sb in it.

yup, that's kinda what this one looked like before dad and his buddies got a hold of it around when i was born. the paint's faded pretty bad on it now, but we put a new coat of wax on it every year before we put it in the parade.
