About
I bought this car in October 2004 after trading in my 1997 Saturn SC1. My wife and I had just moved out to Maryland starting our new lives at the ages of 22, fresh out of college.

I saw the car on the dealership lot with the body kit, rims, tires, and wing. After walking around it and seeing the center exhaust, I had to have it. The only thing holding me back was that I didn't know how to drive a manual! The salesman was not phased at all, "I can teach you," he said, right there in the lot.
I really wanted an Ion Redline (supercharged from the factory, 220whp) and so we hopped in one of those. Needless to say the sport clutch on that car pwned me good, being a newbie to shifting and all that. We got back from the test drive and hopped in this beauty. The stock clutch was much easier for me this time and I fell in love right then and there.
Bought the car and drove it home, having JUST LEARNED how to drive manual and having to go up hills, stop, and thru stop lights all the way back to my place - I was VERY nervous!
It was merely 6-8mo after getting the car that I found my next obsession - drag racing.
So the newbie to manuals is now launching his car at the track. I love the car a TON and NEEDED more power!
Along comes Kevin @ SpeedMafia Performance. I pretty much became his intern. I learned more about cars, engines, and how an engine works than I ever thought I could. I bought my own gauges, installed them, configured my wideband o2 sensor and gauge, got a new exhaust put on 'er. Then I made the 1000mi trip out to Denver, CO, for the Procharger installation.
Kevin pretty much just pointed things out to me while I cranked wrenches and asked questions.

Learning, learning, learning, may I forever be a sponge!

SpeedMafia Performance is an awesome shop with awesome people and they KNOW how to treat their customers. If you need anything in the Denver area, or anywhere, and are interested in Procharger setups, give me a shout or e-mail the SpeedMafia guys and tell 'em B sent ya ;)
