General Vehicle Comments I purchased my wagon in June of 2003 and have loved it ever since. I also joined Mazdasports (now known as Arizona MazdaClub) shortly afterwards which made my love for this car even greater. My wagon has had its ups and downs though as well. In May 2006, I spun a couple rod bearings. I replaced them about a month later only the blow the motor again a week later. After tearing down the motor, I found that I spun all the bearings, and bent a rod. I also found that the crank and engine block were bad. After replacing alot of stuff, and purchasing alot of aftermarket mods, I finally got the car up and running again in October 2007 after being deployed to Afghanistan for 7 months. Since returning from Afghanistan, my car was endured a major external change with additions of many DG Motorsports Carbon Fiber parts, the Mintblue Eyelids, and the Rockblocker light overlays. I received my sponsership with ProtegeGarage in the Spring of 2008. |
