thanks....we are planning on getting a Carbon fiber Evo hood for it christmas time !!..if u look closely you can see a dent in the front of the hood....by getting the hood we will lighten the car about 25 pounds get rid of the nasty front grill and add cooling vents on the top to help the engine run cooler !!..cant wait ..that will give the car a whole new and more aggresive look !!...just crossing my fingers that we can afford it then haha - frank

 
 

yeah i seen the red on your engine bay ..its looks really nice !!...i ve done that on my engine bay also ...its surprising how a little paint can make such a big difference...well my son and i have been working on the Lancer allot...we put in a cold air intake and installed some HID bulbs to start off ...its been allot of fun but the money is kinda tight for now ..so only low cost mods at the moment !! ..its still allot of fun .. i like the new lights on your ride 2 !!! ...its coming along really nice so far !! - frank

i would have to lean toward the silver ..its more expected on a fuel door...silver always tends to come out good no matter how you paint it ...i think the red would look nice but som reds look orange or fade so the silver would probably be safer ...thats just my thoughts on it ...your car is really nice to begin with whether u do it or not your car is still sick ass !!!! frank

you were asking about low cost upgrades...i was going to suggest painting your calipers but it looks like u did it already ...you can also get high heat paint and use it for items under the hood...i painted all the caps under the hood either red of silver and painted a few covers red ..it honesly made a nice difference and gave my engine bay a more custom look ...I also found these little fins ..they are call Vortex Fins ...they cost only about 25 bucks with the shipping . I have them mounted on the rear of my roof line ..they are basically a roof diffuser to help the wind flow going to your spoiler ..there are easy to install and are already painted black ..you can see a picuture of it on my roof on my profile page...you can find them on the web site rx8strakes.com - -frank
