General Vehicle Comments
I picked the car up non-turbo, non-running at the time and brought it home as a project. I eventually got her running and then the build began. I started by removing the engine and everything I wouldnt need in order to get it running and back to its prime, only this time with a little forced induction. I found an engine online which I had sent to me from a place in canada that imports japanese engines and accessories. It took a pretty damn long time for the shipment to get here but when it finally did things really took off. I had the engine ported and rebuilt to performance standards and picked a variety of high end parts and things to make it go fast. A few of the parts in/on the car I just happened to come across such as the GReddy intercooler and the Willans harnesses. The harnesses are actually out of a Nextel cup car driven by Kurt Busch. After a long and expensive wait, I finally have the car in about the condition I have been waiting on. Only a few things keep it from roaring down the road.

I look forward to seeing the completed car. 10psi is a decently high boost output. I've seen a lot higher but 10psi is really nice. You will notice a big difference I'm sure. A little trick I learned is that if it is for some reason taking too long to spool up, kick the wastegate setting up a little more. The wastegate will start opening around 5psi before your setting which essentially removes a bunch of energy used to finish the spool. Good luck with finishing the car. Make sure you let me know when you finished it because I would love to see it.

It should spool up quickly. With rotary engines, you can put the turbo ridiculously close to the engine. This results in the most temperature and most exhaust pressure. Since both play a large factor in spool up time, depending on the size of the turbo, it should be relatively instant. lol

Thanks, your car must be relatively quick with how fast those rotary engines can spool up a turbo.
