General Vehicle Comments

Originally had no special plans for it. Just liked the ground effects,,picked them up and snowballed from there.
Wanted to supercharge the stock 3.8 but decided that would'nt be very reliable. Went with the real deal and dropped in a new 5.0 HO crate from Ford Raceing. Shes definately unique since Ford stopped useing 5.0s in Thunderbirds in 1993 and went to the 4.6. Took some doing and a little shoe horning but got it in there.

Vehicle Showcase

Mostly a showcar with many 1st,2nd, and 3rd place trohpies to her credit.
May look into seeing what she can do in the quarter mile just to have the numbers.
Only been running the new crate engine for one season
UPDATE---two seasons now, only one problem with the maf sensor when she came out of storage in May of 08. Other than that the swap is a success.

I did the front 3 plugs and wires and the fuel filter today. When I dumped out the fuel filter it looked like mud, guessing it's a lot more responsive to drive now, LOL

Man did changing plugs and wires on the Tran Sport suck today. Didn't even do the firewall side yet, dreading that if the front was that much of a chore.

I never use the tablesaw or I would cover it. I paid like $100 for it at Menards and the blade and housing are as tight as it can be and it moves side to side alot so can't get a good cut. Expensive saw horse and paint stand.
