About Me
About me? I'm Chris, I live in and greatly dislike Connecticut. Florida is where I'll be off to when I finish school. I'm going to school now at Porter & Chester for, you guessed it, automotive. I fix and repair cars, and I also do all my own work on my own car, from repairs to upgrades. I love cars, I love BMW the most, unfortunately I don't have the money to buy a new one, only enough to make my car better :). Here's hoping to work at a BMW shop or dealership someday.
General Vehicle Comments
Nothing eats road like a Bimmer.

1991 - 1999 (E36) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury.
Not to mention the "bulletproof" long block that is the M50B25, housing a forged crankshaft, forged rods, and forged pistons, making 192bhp and 185 lb-ft in torque. The 1992 model year is most likely the easiest to modify for power, due to the lack of VANOS variable camshaft timing, and lack of limitations due to OBDII regulations and safety standards.

doing any work on the trans is expensive to start off with so when you change yor clutch change the fly wheel at the same time....locally it costs about 400 just to drop the trans ..unfortunatly i didnt think when i did the clutch to do the flywheel ....but ehh i will be upgrading to a stage 3 or 4 clutch next yar and ill catch the fly wheel then

I seriously suggest buying a beater. From my experience, buy something with zero mod potential or you'll end up with your hands full like me! Lol

cool thanks for the heads up on that.....im planning on getting unorthodox pulleys from mazdaspeed...it had the dyno test and the only thing i need to get is wider belts ...its is a bit moe expensive but i dont want to spend the extra money for no power gains !!....yeah gas sucks literlly ....i cruise in nuetral as much as possible and i run octain boost to make sure im gettig the most out of my gas and engine ! ...i recently added a throttle body spacer which helps with throttle response and saves on gas also !!

yeah since my car is a high rev and the engine is only 1.3 mostof the power is mid and high...so off the line its not very strong...getting the lighter pulletys is suppose to increase the power through the whole power band and help my engine rev up to the power zone faster ! probably eat more gas to haha...gas is 4.75 oer gallon for unleaded premium here ....ahhh

that sounds like your going to squeeze more power out of your engine !! ...exciting ...let me know how tat goes ...i kinda did all my stage one tuning on my car and a few added extras all he other stuff is big dollar items so it may be awhile before i do any more major mods outside of pulleys perhaps

That's when having three cars is convenient! Usually its a pain because I feel like I'm progressing so slowly but with 3 cars I have the ability to shop and browse around, wait for parts to go on sale and still be able to drive another car while one is torn apart waiting for parts. :o)

I debated it. I actually thing I'm going with clear that way I can get yellow 3M and protect them/change the color as I want. Best of both worlds! 8-)

Trust me, I steer clear of eBay when it comes to car parts. I'm a stickler for quality parts and am willing to wait/spend the extra buck. I'm terrified of getting burned and becoming a chapter in the horror stories.

I ordered HID's from xenondepot last week :o)

I'm not so sure about black housing. I'm thinking it would look good considering my color scheme but I want to get fogs first!
