About Me
What's up everybody. My name's Hoot, but for the most part I go by my middle name "Jeff" if I don't know you in person.

My dream job is to be a Green Beret. As of 26-August-2009, I took the 1st step in reaching that goal. I am now a US ARMY Recruit. I don't leave for basic until March, I just wanna get my life started and earn my Silver Wings at Airborne School... You wont see me do much to my ride until after boot camp, so just hang tight... My ride will get there.

I've been addicted to cars since I can remember. I work on my ride whenever I got time, any thing I can do to make a little bit faster. So far I've done minor modifications: Stripped interior, some styling, and some other stuff. I love my car, '91 Foxbody Mustang. It's getting a heart transplant, but I'm still torn on what to do... go with this Chevy 350 Small Block that I've got... or sell that for a 402 Ford Big Block. If I went with that Chevy 350 V8, both Ford and Chevy fans would hate it, so that's a plus, LMAO. If I went with the 350, I'd definitely get a 383 stroker kit for it. The origional engine is a 2.3L 4-Banger, I know, right, a little piece of crap 4-banger does not belong in a Mustang.

I go Paintballing, camping, I watch movies, lift weights, listen to mainly metal and some rap, I love hanging out with friends, Chillin' at the lake, driving fast, Playstation, and I MIG weld once in a while. I ride my BMX bike every day that it's nice out. I want a dirtbike so bad. I'm also in a martial arts class and I do Akido and Krav Maga, it's a fun class to get into. Anything else you wanna know, just ask. Peace.

Little bit about me: I started becoming a gear head back in Jr. High, my friends let me borrow some import magazines and ever since then I've been hooked. My first job was sweeping the floor at a powder coating shop. Then I moved up to doing the prep work on customer products. I would sand blast anything the customer brought in. Most of it was industrial or residential but once in a while we'd get some rims, sandrails, we even got a '73 Porsche chassis. I worked my way up to apprenticing and eventually started powdercoating customer's products by myself. The shop was shut down within it's 1st year of being open, but I had the coolest boss. I'd ask him "how can I do this to my car..." and he'd give me idea's on how to mod it correctly. I learned alot about engines from him.

Throw some challanges my way...

Leave some comments...

I'll vote for people who I think deserve it, so DON'T me ask for votes...

A good car culture background in my town. I live in Bullhead City, AZ. Kinda a small town. We recently got a Chilli's and Home Depot so I guess this town is growing. We've got the casinos across the river, the lake, and a whole lotta desert. Get's up to 120 in the Summer and 50 in the Winter.

Every January we have the SCORE Off-road racing and it is cool as hell. The Monster Energy Truck, K&N Truck, and even Jesse James race it. We've got an amateur Drift coarse, we recently got it a couple years ago. Most of the drift races take place in Nov. and some sponsored drifters race it every once in a while so it's cool. The closet drag strip is in Kingman, AZ. For the Kingman drag they close off a section of the streets, have EMT's, and it's open to all racers. Since they have to close off a section of the street, they can only hold it a couple times outta the year, all of the proceeds from the races are going to fund a open-year round drag strip. As soon as I get my Mustang running good I wanna try and get a quarter mile time slip there. About 200 miles away we've got Las Vegas, NV and they do some racing there. We've got two major car clubs: Tuners and Classics. Classics meet at this Scooters Restaurant during the day, and the tuners meet at a parking lot at Safeway at night. Pretty good car culture in my city. If you see me at a party say what's up. If you're in Bullhead and wanna talk about cars or something, hit me up. Peace Peace.

General Vehicle Comments
R.I.P. Grand Am
She is no more.

This was my brother's car. When he went to Iraq, he let me take care of it for him: oil changes, keeping it in mint condition, etc. It helped me with trips to Autozone for parts for my Mustang.

Aside from some very minor performance: K&N and Bosch Performance spark plugs, and some entertainment: Pioneer CD deck and an iPod Adapter this car is in mint condition.

He recently took it back as of February, 09 when he returned back to the states. He traded it in for a down payment on a Lincoln Mark III, so the Pontiac is no more.

It was a nice little ride. That 2.2 4-Banger could beat most Civics with minor mods in my town right off the line, kept up with some V6's but smoked by others.

I've got some good stories with it. The engine was blown when I took it in for an oil change. The dumbass in the pit forgot to tighten the drain plug all the way, so it fell out on my way back home, leaked oil every where, and that was the end of the 1st block. I finally got their insurance to pay for the new block.

Then one time I got busted on photo speed trap doing 87 in a 55 zone on my way back from Phoenix. It's definitely something that I'm not proud of and it could've ended my life with a felony charge, but I got so damn lucky that they dropped it completely. I'm never speeding that fast ever again on free ways.

I loved that car's interior and body styling, but it was really a piece of crap. It started off with little things like the shifter button falling off while driving, rattling noises, and just general stuff falling off after the 1st 3 years. Then the CV joints were going out and she was pretty much on her last leg at that time even with it having proper maintenance upkeep.

Vehicle Showcase

New Motor in it with 10,000 Less miles on it... 10 Min. Lube forgot to tighten the engine drain plug... the plug fell out as I was driving home... BLEW THE ENGINE (Damn it!) 2 grand from their insurance :D for a new engine. 2 weeks taking the bus to school. Seeing her on the flatbed made me die inside. Same exact size motor, all that, nothing special I'm just pissed at some 10 Min. Lube Shop- Not to mention names... but there's this "Quality care Auto Lube & Car Wash" 10 Min. Lube and Oil on 2410 Miracle Mile in Bullhead City, AZ 86442... I wouldn't suggest anything more than a car wash

Future Plans
I wanted a body kit on it...My brother said he'd kick my ass if I did. He wants to tune it himself. It'll stay all stock, few exceptions, until he gets back. He plans on beefing up the engine, some projector head lamps, all Pioneer Speakers, and some other stuff.

Not much of anything really. Had a model shoot scheduled for tonight but once I emailed her telling her where to meet me she emailed back and said her mom had died and she wouldn't be coming. Don't know if it's true or if she just chickened out but just told her sorry to hear it, I'll still be around when your ready. Now have been going nuts trying to find a replacement because I had my heart set on these new pics I want to get. Search continues, later man, Trav
