About Me
23 years old and stuck in Maine

General Vehicle Comments

Vehicle history History Timeline:

1-10-09 Purchased
1-11-09 Driven the 100 mile trip home on a trailer, just after a snowstorm
1-15-09 started taking apart interior in -5 F weather

This car originally had a 305 in it. It is now being powered by a 350 small block, bored 60 over with a TH350 transmission and a shift kit. The vehicle has been bought as a project car by at least 2 other people, neither of which managed to finish the job. Hopefully I can restore it to its former glory. This car had been sitting for about 6 months when I went to look at it, and with a little starting fluid the beasty engine started right up and shook the neighborhood.
Accessories & Modifications
Engine swap from a 305 to a 350
dual exhaust
shift kit
custom rust!
Vehicle Showcase
holes in the trunk
a misfiring engine
ripped seats
bald tires
rust spots everywhere on the *actual metal* body
no brakes

^^that beats a flatscreen in the trunk anyday^^
Future Plans
too many to list, basically a slow partial resto. some of the more obvious plans are...

Get the brake system operational (the parking brake is the only means of stopping the car right now)

Engine/drive train tune up (plugs/wires/cap/rotor/fluids/timing/carb tune/etc)

once those two things are done, the car will be fully functional and I can take my time doing the non-critical (and pricey) work

Redo the whole interior black
-re-upholster seats
-carpeting
-dash cover
-door panels (not sure if these can be dyed)
-new functional instrument panel
-headliner
-molding

Exterior
-replace both rear-quarter panels
-cowel hood
-new chrome window molding
-black vinyl top
-refurbish and chrome rims
-fix rust spots
-paint black
