alot of people call my car the dukes of hazard car since i painted it looks somewhat like the charger in the movie =] i still have a lot of work to do to my car i still want to get a posi rear end right now it has stock gears and limited slip i spent the last year working on the body and doing the paint job i need to work on the interior now the doors do not have panels and the seats are the best either. i enjoy the car when i can i have lost interest in driving it lately due to the high gas prices and getting into trouble with the cops doing smoke shows.

I've been doing pretty well lately. The car is still at the body shop for the next two weeks. The bumpers are in Phoenix getting rechromed, the interior panels are at the interior shop getting refreshed, the matching numbers motor is hanging on the stand in my garage, I'm assembling the motor myself, and the tranny is getting rebuilt right now. It's a full on resto and it's taking alot of monies to finish it. That's okay because I'll have a bichtin car when it's finished. Planning on having it done by the first of the year, hopefully. That's strange that you still have crap coming from the tank. New tank, how about fuel pump? Did you have the lines replaced or cleaned out. It just might be stuff on the inside of the lines. How's it going? Big plans for the up coming weekend? Just sitting around waiting on the car and the engine is at the machine shop getting bored out and the heads rebuilt.

Glad to hear that it was only the filter. If you think some crap got into the motor, just take it out somewhere where there isn't any traffic, and run the shit out of the motor. You don't even want to know how much money I've spent so far on this restoration. But it's coming together really well. I even have enough monies to rebuild the numbers matching motor this winter. It's turned into a total restore. The UPS guy is my best friend, it's like Christmas here for me. Later, Gordon.
