My Hobbies of course are cars. I like all cars,but partial to Chevys, and some Fords. I have restored, frame off. 3 vehicles ,back to back,beginning with a 1955 Chevy small window stepside pickup,1955 Chevy Belair to match it, and last one finished this past Oct was the 1962 DEUCE. I am presently Drag Racing in the Sportsman Class, and mainly hang out at www.mokandragway.com in MO. There are about 7 of us locally with Drag Cars,that typically caravan down for most Test and Tune friday nights and some bracket racing on Sat,s. Guns and Danbury Mint Diecast Models,are my other passion,as a collector.

LIL Red Deuce

This was a 2 year rebuild. New qtrs,fender repair, floor and fire wall repair. Fiberglas hood, all else ie metal and glass.Has a TCI front Clip with MustangII steering,and adj QA1 coil over shocks ,front and rear. Neal Chance Billet Nitrous converter.Custom frame connectors, Chassis Works full cage,as well as ladder bars. This car in street legal trim as pictured, presently runs mid 10,s at 130 mph in the qtr mile. Havent had it out in 2007 yet due to injury. I have changed out rear gearing to hopfully improve performance. The engine is now a 406 sbc utilizing 6" 3D-Eagle rods and the crank is a 4340 scat, forged pistons,Dart heads, with a compression of approx 14.5:1. TCI 400 with an ultra bell, PST drive line and a Strange 9" with 33 spline Moser axels. Running a NOS system ,and tunning as reqd.
Expect to be running mid 9,s this coming season with the new 406 ,that about as fast as I want to go..

10.5 at 130 mph 1/4 times This is the very 1st time out. Got to 11.16 that day. As you can see the Deuce was still in process,about 5 diff colors of primer and paint.
