When it comes to cold air inductions, such as the K&N Air Charger, there is nothing cold about the incoming air. However, one would expect a greater volume of air due the reduced flow restriction (i.e., air filter). I am of the opinion that to get the full benefit of having a cold air induction, the car needs to be tuned. Then again, it is only my opinion. :D

My cars sold btw, just waiting till Spring, 24K even. And considering that the car is 5 model years old now and will have 80K miles on her, she holds her value quite well indeed. Good luck on your sale....

ya thanks man, they are very nice, you get everything kinda cars..... If you want to see some crazy stuff look up stage 3 B5 s4's.... alot of them dip into the 10's on the 1/4. I should have my RS in a month or so... So we shall seee

HEY Thanks for the pic comments! I love my tarantula and yes, I know the nickname for a GTO is a goat, I worked on one in auto mechanics my junior year of high school a few years ago. It was pretty awesome! How are you doin?
 
 

That's cool. Mine was manufactured up there in the middle '05. Bought the car in April of 06. I have raced a couple of GTO's here in the area and beat both of them with ease. Both of those cars out of the box had more horsepower than mine, but the gearing is horrible in some of those models. What does your car do, 0-60? 1/4?
 
 

The Probe is actually more Mazda then Ford. I like it but would like yours better.The new GTO's are hot once they listened to people about putting the scoops back on the hood. All but 2 of my cars I've paid cash for because with 3 kids can't afford any more payments. The Probe is getting damn close to 200,000 miles and runs strong. Burns a little oil when I first fire it up but clears up fast. Going to get a klze engine which is the same basically but 31 horse over the US version stock. Gotta run, just popped in to see what was new. Later, Trav
