Axle: Strange Light weight Spool with 4.56:1 gears and Strange Ultra Light Pro Race axles

Last year the car ran 10.1x's @ 133-135 mph, but those times were run with with old slicks and a beatup clutch. SPEC will be suppying a new "hybrid" clutch for the 2008 season to see if we can get this thing in the 9.80's where it should be based on the MPH!!!

We also found out this winter that the rear end had exploded at some point last year and it neglected to let us know about it. The ring gear had only 8 full teeth left on it and they were even cracked. A new 35 spline Strange Ultra Light Pro Race setup is being put together for the upcoming season and it will have a few little tricks done to it in the form of Mikronited gears, ball bearings, and extra stiffening braces as well. The gearing will be 4.56's instead of the 4.88's from last year, but we expect a few more MPH out of it this year so 137-138 MPH will drive the trap RPM through the roof unless we make the change. All and all 9's N/A shouldn't be all that difficult!!!
