General Vehicle Comments Here's my car after modding for the past few years. It was bought bone stock, and I didn't start modding it until a year after I bought it. I have had no help from sponsors while building this car. It is my passion, and I find a way to make it fit within my budget.
So far, I have put around $37,500 in aftermarket work into the car. It is currently undergoing a major reconstruction of the interior, and getting a lot of carbon fiber work, inside and out. I also have a lot more going into the current engine setup, including both a Roots and Vortech style supercharger, working together in blissful F/I unison :) This should all be completed, with updated pics, by September 07.
A lot of the work on the car has been done by me. The only things that have not are the paint job/body kit install, and the current fiberglass work being done.
Many people may ask, "why do all this to a Hyundai?". Simply because when I purchased the car, I was a mere Private in the Army, and this is all I could afford. I have since gained rank (Sergeant), thus being able to gradually put money into it to turn a Hyundai into a beast. I am working on a new engine setup now that will hopefully push my car into the realm of over 450whp. I think that for a Hyundai, I am doing pretty damn well. |
