About Me Hmm, where to go with this one...I'm Cody, I'm 19, and I do a lot of driving. Mainly I'm driving my other car, a 2006 Ford Escape. The Mustang you see here is my summer driver. I LOVE to drive. I live out in the country, so I get to have fun from time to time. I like to modify things, and now that I'm making some money, I can actually start to really make some progress on my cars! |

General Vehicle Comments My Mustang here has no name yet. Just can't seem to find something to fit it yet. It's a 2004 40th anniversay Pony Package in Competition Orange. I love this color! Funny enough, this car was like my high school's mascot. My Ex-High School's colors are Orange and Black. It is a V6 with a 5-speed. Someday soon, it will smoke the V8's of today...I mean the 05-up GT Mustangs. Can you say forced induction? |

Accessories & Modifications As far as mods, there aren't too many yet, but just enough to spice it up until I can do some real stuff to it. We've got the Mach 1 Mustang hood stripe and chin spoiler. There's the Bullitt shift knob and bezel. There's the APC two-color gauges. White by day, blue or green by night. There's also the sequential taillight system. You know what I mean when I say the signals light up staged 1-2-3, 1-2-3 like that. It's cool. I'll get a video of it sometime along with the MAC exhaust cat-back system we put on. Probably the best exhaust you can get for a V6 for $300. Also put the GT bumper on there so the exhaust had somewhere to be put. Plus, I got a trunk vinyl from Rocky Mountain Graphics recently, and picked up a 232 badge to replace the 238 I mistakenly put on, thinking my car was a 3.9... It's not.
I've also got some new parts to throw on this spring.
-Independent rear suspension setup from a Cobra
-Full set of polyurethane differential and control arm bushings
-Rebuilding my T-5 (two synchros on their way out)
-Mach 1 13" front brakes, Cobra 11.65" rear brakes
-SS brake lines
-High-temp DOT4 brake fluid
-Speed-bleeders
-HAWK HP Plus or HPS ferro-carbon brake pads
-Rear coilovers for the IRS
-SPEC Stage II or III clutch Kit
-Pro 5.0 or Steeda short shifter
-Maximum Motorsports full length subframe connectors

Vehicle Showcase I ran some 1/4 miles recently, and now I have times! Best run turned out with a 2.284 60', 9.966 1/8 @ 70.93 mph and a 15.459 1/4 @ 90.50 mph. Sound system is a 460-watt MACH system. Pretty kickin' for stock! Hits 60 in 8 seconds flat. Nothing special, but fast enough for me.
More recently I ran with my newer suspension lowering and new tires. 15.69 at 89 mph. |
