Kohlweiss Auto Parts is the largest independent wholesale and retail distributor of import and domestic auto parts, tools and equipment in Northern California. We achieve the highest customer satisfaction scores by paying attention to details, focusing on quality, and providing the fastest delivery of any after market distributor in the area.
Our founder, Frank Kohlweiss, started out in the early 1980’s importing engine cores and body parts from Germany and Italy, along with container-loads of cores for production engine builders across the country. A short time later, he realized the importance of carrying a full line of automobile body parts and began developing a more varied inventory. Later he began specializing in Volkswagen parts, and the business grew dramatically over the next 10 years.
Frank continued expanding the company in response to the needs of his enlarging customer base. In 1992, he made multiple acquisitions and became a full line import supplier. Today, we are a complete domestic and import parts distributor with four locations unmatched for service, quality and availability. |

Our warehouse contains the largest selection of name brand auto parts, tools and equipment on the Peninsula. With more than 100,000 square feet of warehouse space containing over 6 million dollars of inventory, we have the volume to stock and distribute at low, competitive prices.
