About Me
I'm Trying to keep the classics from disappearing. Most people get an older car and try to "beef" it up and modify it beyond repair. I get them and try to bring them back to their "glory Days" original look, ride and feel. Now I don't have any thing against people hooking their cars up with nitrous, blowers or anything else, but that's just not me.

Try Restoring not Destroying
General Vehicle Comments
I found this Corvette in very bad condition. The owner said the engine was shot, steering system was going to need to be replaced and the transmission was going out as well as the interior was shot. After I got the car from the owner that was trying to sell it to a scrap yard for scrap steel???? I Checked out the steering, engine and transmission and found the engine needed spark plug wires ($60.00), steering needed to be adjusted (Free) and the transmission needed a clip ($4.00). So with a little bit of work the car was running. Apparently some people only know how to add gas and haul @$$.
Thank You For visiting Shu's 80 Corvette car #5573

Thanks. Lost to a 99 Vette that looked brand new so can't complain too much I lost to a car 10 times more expensive then mine, LOL! I was hoping people would be sick of looking at all the vettes there and vote for mine since it is slightly modified and unique.

Cool. Luckily where I am, we had nothing but rain rain and more rain. Up state had it in a lot worse. A county to the north of me had a couple tornado's.

I had my 70 Chevelle set to private but hit show it again while I was there to get ya the link for the cuda in case you checked out my other cars over there. I used to have it memorized but I'm on too many car sites now, LOL! With 5 miscarriages thought I was safe to buy a nice toy for myself but nope. Family grew by the 2 boys and that was all I had that was worth anything and had to go. Now down to a Ford Probe, haha! Life's cruel joke on me. Oh well, I really like the Probe, just wish it had the torque the cuda had.

That was one thing I hated about my 67 Barracuda. I couldn't customize anything and make it my own without every Mopar guy at every show rolling their eyes at me like I just did something terrible by changing up things from stock. The GT I have now nobody cares what I do to it and original restos just don't matter. So I'm going all out, LOL!

Yeah thats what they were tellin me about! Yeah I haven't had any "major" problems with mine, except it likes to idle way down with the new cam in it so I have to adjust some stuff before this saterday because theres a cruise, lookin foward to it so I hope its worth it, its got a show and shine as well but my cars kinda crappy lol!

Thanks for saying so. Means a lot to me that people like the work I did and I didn't have to spend $20,000 on it to have people say so.

I have had the car since mid May and the only thing done to it was the rims and tires, I added and did everything else to it.

Yeah I like em too, I think mines a little faster then the 84 since its the 85, they put in the tuned port fuel injection engine in 85 an it has 230 horse, not sure what the 84s had but I know the tuned port engine was more reliable or something, but they didn't fix everything so in 88 I think they changed the engines to the L98 not sure but thats what I've heard, but they're the same bodies. I like your vette though, its got better lines.

haha well that same friend and i were at a car show in somerset and we looked at a few new mustangs there was this badass yellow stang and we looked at the interior and saw what it registered and realized it was a v6 and he yelled out what a vagina, and they guy that owned it was sitting on the other side of the car in a car after we saw that we just walked off haha

haha well a friend of mine has a 98 mustang and of course his looks better b/c it's silver w/17" alum. wheels and aftermarket tail lights so he'd more than likely when a which looks better but if you go for performance they might pick him b/c it looks better but when all reality my 3.4 camaro will outrun his 3.8 mustang if that makes sense

Brian is on my friends list over on car domain.com. He's a great guy. He's retired but guess is a volunteer pilot fighting all the fires over there on the west coast so hasn't been to many shows his self this year. Is your car new to you, I guess I didn't notice on your profile. I have had mine since May had to sell all the classic muscle when the boys were born cause it was the only things I had worth a damn. Had a 67 Barracuda fastback and a 70 Chevelle. Now with 3 kids driving a $3,000 Probe GT, LOL! Oh well, someday!
